Griha Pravesh Muhurat
🏠 Griha Pravesh Muhurat Griha Pravesh Muhurat refers to the auspicious time to enter a new home for the first time. According to Hindu traditions, performing Griha Pravesh during a favorable muhurat brings peace, prosperity, and positive energy into the home. The ceremony includes Vastu Puja, Havan (fire ritual), and prayers to deities. It is generally performed when house construction is completed or after purchasing a new house. Griha Pravesh is avoided during inauspicious days like Amavasya (new moon), eclipses, or unfavorable tithis. There are three types of Griha Pravesh: Apoorva (first-time entry into a newly built house), Sapoorva (entry after renovation), and Dwaar Pravesh (entry for the first time when the house is ready to live in). The muhurat is selected based on the family member’s horoscope, date, day, and nakshatra.
